MTMT
The Hungarian Scientific Works Repository (MTMT) is a bibliographic database that catalogs domestic scientific publications and their citations. According to the Act on the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA), all scientific works produced with budgetary support must be registered in the MTMT. Its core tasks include collecting data from authors and institutions, striving for completeness, and supporting institutions engaged in domestic scientific research and education. SZTAKI is responsible for the development of the MTMT software and the operation of the hardware environment. Data maintenance and verification are carried out by the central administrators at the National Research Council Library and the local administrators at the institutions. Uploading the data is the responsibility of the authors and/or the institutional administrators. A key feature of the service is the multi-level verification of data, the use of subject-specific indicators alongside public access and a standardized data description.
