Typotex Kiadó, founded in 1989, is a well-established Hungarian publishing house specializing in academic textbooks, professional handbooks, and lecture notes across a wide range of disciplines in both the natural sciences and the social sciences. Its portfolio covers fields such as mathematics, physics, informatics, biology, chemistry, engineering, psychology, philosophy, communication, art theory, and management.

The publisher’s Interkönyv platform, launched in 2009, serves as its digital publication interface. It provides full-text access to nearly 700 Hungarian-language titles, including university textbooks, lecture notes, and specialized academic books in various scientific domains.

The collection is continuously expanding, as all newly published Typotex titles are made available online in electronic format alongside their printed editions. In addition, some professional books and textbooks are released exclusively in digital format, ensuring up-to-date access to the latest academic materials.
